On a recent holiday to Florida I couldn't resist a chance at float flying in the Keys. Flying in an open cockpit, wearing a tee-shirt & shorts is not to be recommended in Northern Ireland, even if it is supposed to be the summertime.

These photographs were taken in Key Largo.

I have had to opportunity to fly an MX-2 in the UK, but it was certainly not on floats and like the rotec ralleye on a previous page these machines have largely, but not completely disappeared from the UK ultralight scene.
