| In this first page on full size flying there are a few photos of early microlights and my own early years in the sport. |
Below are a few pictures of one of the first microlights to visit the site that I fly from. It was called a Rotec Ralleye. These photographs were taken back in the 80's.

At the time this picture was taken there were quite a few Rotex ralleye's flying in Northern Ireland. However over recent years these machines can be found gathering dust at the back of many a garage.
After many years of flying models and I decided to train for my microlight licence, so I began training in 1995 on an AX-3. After sucessfully obtaining my licence I purchased my first microlight called a Thruster TST. An Australian design, it is powered by an Austrian Rotax 503 engine. To date I have over 100 hours flying in the Thruster and enjoy flying it immensely.

My wife Karen has quite a few hours as my co-pilot.
