any aspect please contact me before flying in.
Contact information is at the bottom of the page.
The safety notices are for everyone's safety both on the ground and in the air.

Now more general information about the site for everyone.
Diagram of the flying site (not to scale).
| Below are a few photos of the site which should give you a better idea of what the site looks like, as well as its location. |

Here is an overall view of the site taken looking towards the North East. You should be able to see the main Dungannon M1 Junction with the A29 at the top right of the picture, and the flying site in the foreground roughly 1/2 mile from the junction. The red lines show the location of a telephone wire at the southern end of the strip, the line is well below the level of the top of the field, where the runway is located.
Here are two other photos showing the flying site. Both were taken at around 600 feet.

The first shows the site looking at it from the North. In the foreground is the Dual carriageway and then Runway 18.

This second photo shows the site looking at it from the South, showing Runway 36 in the foreground, and the Dual carriageway beyond the end of the strip. The red line shows the location of a telephone wire, but as mentioned previously the line is well below the level of the runway which is located on the top of the hill.
On the approach to Runway 18 there are low level power lines. The photos below give more detail of their position although not directly across the runway you should be aware of the position.

A detailed view of the approach to Runway 18. The yellow line represents the approach and runway centre line, the red line is superimposed over the powerlines. The powerlines on the direct approach are effectively much lower because the land on this near side of the Dual Carriageway is below the level of the road.
