This page contains images and information about the 2007 Annual Flyin Event. The event took place on Saturday 15th September with very windy weather conditions that made flying difficult for all those taking part both models and fullsize aircraft alike.
Although the weather was exceptionally stormy there were 3 fullsize visitors which arrived early and left a little earlier than initially planned due to the worsening weather conditions.
Not fullsize but not far behind it was this model flown by Matthew Poots after a very sucessful year competition flying. Windy conditions for this ? What wind was the reply.
Above George and Adrian preparing refreshments for those attending the Flyin. Below it looks like there are a few people benefitting from the efforts of the cooks
A couple of the fullsize pilots just talking about how they might have arrived if the day had been a little less breezy.
A selection of some of the models which flew throughout the day.
With the Jet Masters earlier this year held in Enniskillen. Jets are becoming more and more popular with local modellers.
Not just jets becoming popular but electric models have come a long way in recent years. Harry is one of the electric enthuisasts in the club with an extensive range of electric models for both indoors and outside like he is preparing here.
Well thats if for another year have a look now all thats needed it to start planning next years event. By the way that will be on the 20th September 2008.
